Elkader Chamber of Commerce Board Meeting

Present: Ruhser, Bruening, Klink, Durbin, Harstad
New Business:
Ruhser is putting together the report for the annual meeting.
Greg Lovell will be a new Chamber board member.
January 28 is the Regional Chamber meeting, held at Schera's in Elkader.
The Retail Committee's name will be changed to the Promotion Committee. It has also changed its mission statement to: "The mission of the Promotion Committee is to plan and implement the promotion of the Elkader area business community."
Correspondence:
The City of Elkader invited a representative from Chamber to join a board to review proposals for a riverfront development project for the Turkey River in Elkader. Durbin will attend the meeting.
Harstad will look into Christmas decorations for next year. Ruhser will invite Jerry Gamm to the next meeting.
A motion was made by Bruening to donate Chamber membership to Mary Harstad and Claire Wright. Klink seconded. The motion was approved.
