EL KAHIR SHRINE KARAVAN PARADE IN ELKADER
Ten parade units from the EL KAHIR SHRINE KARAVAN will be in Elkader on Saturday, June 12th. The parade will start at 10 a.m. on South Main Street. The theme of the parade is "A Gift for the Children" Donations will be accepted along the parade route by the Main Street Elkader Promtion Committee members. The funds will be used to help pay for transportation costs to transer the children to hospitals. For more infomation about the parade contact the Main Street Elkader office at 563-245-2770 |

A celebration honoring Ed Olson will be held in Mascara Park. The occasion will also serve to dedicate a sign saluting Ed for his role in establishing and supporting Elkader's Sister City alliance with Mascara, Algeria and his role in promoting Elkader through work with community and county organizations. |
