Central Community Hospital is a valuable asset to our community and the surgical department is a vital part of the Hospital.  CCH has a plan to renovate its nearly 50-year-old operating room (OR) this year.  The plan includes three parts:  renovation of the OR space to include walls, ceilings, flooring and cabinetry; HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) update to establish a separate unit capable of controlling temperature and humidity to meet state OR standards and replacement of a boiler, surgical lights, table and sterilizer. The renovation of the surgical space will begin mid-April of this year.

The estimated cost of the project is $657,300 including renovation of space, a new surgical table, lights and instruments.  So how will this be financed?

• 50% will come from Operations - $322,300
• 25% will be borrowed - $160,000
• 25% from the CCH Foundation -  $175,000

The CCH Foundation Board committed $175,000 to the project. Thus far the hospital family and community have donated over $122,000, leaving $53,000 to rise.  We are now asking for the public’s help to complete the goal.
