Deer Run Resort is a beautiful, clean and level campground with 81 large campsites all with full hookups, a concrete pad for your camper and a concrete patio. Each campsite has 30/50 amp. electricity, water, sewer, fire ring and picnic table. The state of the art shower house is handicap-accessible and serves as a storm shelter. It is equipped with laundry facilities, soft water for showers, in-floor heat and is air conditioned.
A handicap-accessible cottage is available for rent year around. This fully furnished cottage sleeps six, is heated and air conditioned and has a flat screen TV. Sit by the fireplace and enjoy your family and friends in this beautiful cottage. No pets or smoking allowed.

Elkader City Campground opens April 1st WEATHER PERMITTING and closes November 1st. Our lovely shaded campground is located on the edge of town in the 3 acre City Park near the Turkey River. 100-125 campsites (60-70 campsites are available with water and electrical hook up). A new conveniently located bathhouse offers hot showers. Campers also have access to free firewood and a dump site.
Camping Fees:
Monthly camping fee @ $250.
RV/5th wheel/travel trailer/day @ $20.
Pop-up & truck campers/day @ $17.
Rustic & tent/day (no electric or water) @ $12
Monthly and daily rates only
No reservations on campsites.
Shelters may be reserved by calling 563-245-2098. See Campground Map for shelter locations and fees.
